Established in the historic city of Ayodhya in 1984 by the Department of Technical Education, Government of Uttar Pradesh, Government Polytechnic, Ayodhya stands as a premier pillar of diploma engineering and polytechnic pedagogy in North India. Approved rigorously by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi, and affiliated with the Board of Technical Education, Uttar Pradesh (BTEUP), the institute was conceived with a definitive mandate: to democratize premier technical knowledge and nurture industry-ready technocrats from grassroots communities.
Over the course of four vibrant decades, the institute has continuously evolved its pedagogical paradigms. What began as a focused technical training polytechnic has transitioned into a progressive engineering incubator. Today, we impart rigorous multi-disciplinary training encompassing traditional core disciplines alongside cutting-edge specializations such as Drone Technologies, Advanced CAD/CAM, and Applied Environmental Analytics.
